Hi Mary, We were the same with Hannah, she's ours to bring up and we didn't farm her out, but it's nice now when Ian and I can have time for just the two of us . Hope you and Richard enjoy your time together............be good though! Love, Doreen xx

Mary, its not sad at all!! Roy and I are going away on our own for the first time since we were engaged!! We just take our parenting seriously, as do lots of others, nothing wrong in that. Have a wonderful time, and dont worry about Sophie!!! Although I know you will anyway!!! BARBARA

Hi Mary, Like you I never left mine either, I was an at home mum for 20 years bringing them up. I went for a weekend away for my 40th birthday and my mum looked after them. That was the first time I left them, the girls wanted us to go said it would be good for us to spend quality time together. Hope your plans take off soon and have a lovely few days. Lorna x

Sorry you didn't get your days out, Mary, I hope you get another chance soon.
We too never left our children when they were at home, I couldn't have gone away without them.
Love Lyn
